I’m Kerry Gifford, and I live in Mahomet, Illinois. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work in a variety of fields, including finance, water filtration systems, and data analysis. Currently, I serve as a Senior Analyst at Culligan of Champaign, where I focus on using data to improve how we serve our customers and run our operations. My goal is to make sure we deliver the best possible solutions while keeping things efficient and straightforward.
My career has been a journey of learning and adapting. For over 20 years, I worked as a field service technician, specializing in water filtration systems. I took pride in solving technical problems and helping customers get the most out of their systems. Before that, I worked as a loan officer in the financial sector, where I gained valuable experience in customer service and financial management. These experiences taught me the importance of listening, problem-solving, and staying flexible.
Education has always been important to me. I earned degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration while working full-time. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. I’ve also made it a priority to give back to the community. Through SCORE Decatur, I mentor young entrepreneurs, helping them build their businesses and navigate challenges. I also donate business and self-help books to prisons because I believe everyone deserves a chance to grow and improve.
When I’m not working or volunteering, I enjoy spending time outdoors. You can often find me golfing, hiking, fishing, or simply enjoying moments with my family. I try to balance work, learning, and giving back, and I hope to make a positive difference wherever I can.
